Job Summary:

We are seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our team. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe food preparation environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and tidy environment for all food service related areas of the hospital
  • Basic food preparation
  • Cleaning duties, including fridges and preparation areas, kitchen area, dish wash area
  • Monitoring and recording of all relevant food safety data
  • General cleaning and sanitising of all areas of food preparation areas.

Selection Criteria:

  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
  • Track record of providing great service and customer experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Demonstrate a great work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Patient and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
  • Respect and work well with others to achieve goals
  • Act with integrity and show care for the people you work with
  • Embrace change and seek ways to improve service

What We Offer:

$65,000 per annum, plus superannuation and benefits package.
