About the Job">

The Train Manager will work closely with the Train Validation Engineer & Test Manager to ensure adequate train preparation and availability during tests and proper EHS management during Train testing.

Key responsibilities include representing the Project Testing and Commissioning Manager onboard the train, preparing test implementation, checking the ability of the train and its environment to complete the test, and operationally coordinating with all onboard actors.

Ultimately, the Train Manager ensures that the test trainset's configuration is properly managed and has the latest trainset status regarding modifications performed by the Validation team, sub-suppliers, or maintenance team.

Candidates should have a qualification in Engineering and extensive experience in Testing or Certification/Validation.

Coordination skills and the ability to make decisions are also essential. A structured and organised approach to the job is required.

Preferred technical experience in rolling stock, system integration, validation, testing, and commissioning.
