Support Worker for Complex Care

We are seeking a Support Worker to provide full care support for a female client with Cerebral Palsy. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal care, feeding, communication, and mobility.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 12 months experience supporting high needs clients, and be willing to assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.

Desirable skills include experience with epilepsy & asthma management, PEG feeding, suctioning, communication devices (non-verbal client), use of PODD, hoisting and transfer experience, and experience with mobility equipment - wheelchair, standing frame, etc.

The ideal Support Worker will have strong observational skills, a proactive approach, problem-solving capabilities, and respect for established routines.

They will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to learn complex care supports.
