Supporting Individuals with Complex Needs

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment, where you will provide 24-hour complex supports, including domestic and personal care, community access and transport, and building on individual strengths to reach participants' goals.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals with high complex needs to live independently and achieve their goals. This includes providing support to participants, building professional relationships with them and their families, accurate record management and attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and availability to work overnight shifts or attend training/meetings as required
Requirements
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent qualification
  • Experience within the industry (disability, mental health, aged care, individual support, community services or youth work)
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willing to obtain
  • First Aid, CPR, WWCC and NDIS Worker Orientation module
  • Current Driver's License with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (mandatory)
