Policy Development Expert

We are seeking a Policy Analyst to join our team at the Analysis-Policy-Observatory. The successful candidate will work from home, conducting surveys and providing comprehensive insights into current working practices.
- Conduct research and analysis on policy trends and barriers affecting working from home under the Clerks Award;
- Develop relevant terms under the Clerks Award;
- Examine employment of people with intellectual disability in NSW government and identify evidence-based strategies to address barriers;
- Evaluate programs aimed at increasing representation of people with disability on boards;
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for policy development. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake research and analysis to identify policy trends and barriers impacting remote work under the Clerks Award.
- Develop policy recommendations aligned with the Clerks Award.
- Investigate employment practices related to individuals with intellectual disabilities in NSW government settings.
- Assess initiatives aiming to increase board representation for individuals with disabilities.
Proficiency in data analysis, policy development, and effective communication is essential for success in this role.
