We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3 to join our Primary Mental Health team at St Vincent's Correctional Health Service.
About the Role
This key position will provide psychiatric nursing services to the patient population at Port Phillip Prison. You will be responsible for patient treatment, management, assessment, and ongoing reviews, as well as crisis assessment, development of risk management plans, and engaging the patient in the development of their mental health recovery plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality psychiatric nursing services to patients
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes
- Develop and implement risk management plans
Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health
- Demonstrated experience in psychiatric nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
