About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2 to work in our acute psychiatric unit based at The Alfred Hospital. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting risk assessments, and developing care plans in collaboration with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including risk assessment, mental state assessment, and care planning
- Collaborate with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure patient safety and well-being
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes
- Unrestricted registration as a Nurse through the relevant professional body
- Extensive experience in mental health nursing
