Job Title: Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2 to work in our acute psychiatric unit based at The Alfred Hospital. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in mental health and a strong understanding of patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health conditions
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Work collaboratively with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Unrestricted registration as a Nurse through the relevant professional body
  • Extensive experience in mental health nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
