About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Primaryhealth. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Smooth Patient Flow: Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Scheduling and Appointment Management: Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and managing patient schedules.
  • Patient Confidentiality and Security: Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient information at all times.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Provide a high standard of customer service by effectively managing patient queries, requests, and concerns.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, such as scanning, faxing, and maintaining medical records/accounts.
  • Financial Transactions: Process billings and receipts, and assist with financial transactions.
  • Reception and Waiting Room Management: Help manage the reception and waiting rooms effectively, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients.
Requirements
  • Administrative Experience: Ideally two years of administrative experience in a medical setting, with training available for the right candidate.
  • Technical Skills: Competent in the use of Outlook, Word, and Adobe software.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and precision in administrative tasks.
  • Availability: Availability to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with some Saturday mornings 8am-12pm.
