Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Officer to provide clinical leadership and governance support to our Executive Director, Medical Services and Senior Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical leadership and strategic advice to the Executive Director, Medical Services and Senior Leadership Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, sustainable, and evidence-based primary health care services.
- Support the development and implementation of clinical governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and address clinical quality and safety issues, and implement improvements to patient care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies, to promote the organization's clinical services and programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure the effective management of clinical services.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration and eligibility for a Medicare Provider number.
- Relevant experience and/or qualifications in clinical governance, medical leadership, or a related field.
- Fellowship of ACRRM and/or RACGP Accreditation as a GP.
- Current driver's license and ability to travel as required.
- Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
