AO4 Engagement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled AO4 Engagement Officer to join our team at Precruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating the efficient delivery of our Northern District's Queensland Transport and Roads Infrastructure Program (QTRIP) through the provision of strategic communication services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide communication advice and support to program managers and district staff on risk assessment, issues management, community consultation, and communication strategies for projects.
- Write and coordinate correspondence, draft media statements, and respond to media inquiries to support senior management and the Minister's office.
- Conduct community engagement and stakeholder consultations during the development and delivery of our road infrastructure program.
- A degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing is highly desirable.
- Experience in a communication or community engagement role in an environment dealing with major infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport or civil engineering sector, will also be highly regarded.
- You will have communication and customer and stakeholder skills at an A04 level.
- You will also need engagement skills, attention to detail, ability to work as a team, and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
