Operational Risk Advisory Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Operational Risk Advisory to join our Central Advisory and Analytics team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in driving the monitoring and assurance of key areas, ensuring consistency of approach across all locations.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Operational Risk, with experience in managing risk frameworks, tools, and applications. You will be responsible for executing targeted assurance reviews, performing comprehensive data analysis, and communicating assurance and risk review outcomes to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify opportunities to simplify risk frameworks, policies, and processes.
- Execute targeted assurance reviews into areas of business growth or focus, using data analytics and assurance planning.
- Perform comprehensive data analysis to support targeted monitoring activities, using internal and external data sources.
- Communicate assurance and risk review outcomes to stakeholders, identifying areas of best practice or automation for business consideration.
- Evidenced experience in Operational Risk in banking or professional services.
- Sound working knowledge of Risk Management Frameworks, tools, and applications.
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assurance activities.
- Demonstrated experience in data analytics and excellent report writing skills.
- Experience in successfully communicating with and influencing peers and management, as well as building rapport with stakeholders.
