Senior Manager Artificial Intelligence Tech Risk

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Technology and Operations (Tech & Ops) Risk team. As a Senior Manager, Technology Risk, you will be responsible for providing specialist Operational Risk and Compliance (OR&C) advice, assurance, and acceptance/approval of decisions made across the Technology, COO, and Supplier Support Units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide SME risk management advice to crews aligned in Chief Technology Office and Chief Data and Analytics office, focusing on AI technology for the CBA.
- Work with a team of professional SMEs to provide independent, pragmatic, and value-adding Operational Risk advice and assurance for technology and cyber risks across the Group.
- Monitor and report 3LoA activities to the Executive Manager, including BAU management of the Risk Management Approach, Operational Risk Management Framework, and Compliance Management Framework in support of CPS 220.
- Contribute to the oversight and monitoring of key data, technology, and cyber risks, controls, issues, incidents, and risk-in-change.
- Support the identification, escalation, and reporting of technology and cyber risk and compliance matters to relevant stakeholders.
- Detailed working and technical knowledge of AI and Gen AI systems, ideally familiar with solution architectures such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Experience in Risk Management and Risk Frameworks/3 lines of defence model, ideally in banking.
- High-quality written and verbal communication skills, report writing, evidence gathering, and data analysis capabilities.
- Stakeholder and influencing skills with the ability to proactively engage Line 1 teams and provide pragmatic, commercially balanced risk advice.
- A curious and humble mindset, understanding of external trends and changes, interest in continuous learning, and a commitment to building risk management best practice.
