About the Role

We are seeking skilled professionals to support individuals with disabilities in their daily lives.


The Job

This role involves working closely with clients to assist them with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.

You will also be responsible for supporting clients to participate in community, social, and recreational activities.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist clients with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  2. Support clients to participate in community, social, and recreational activities.
  3. Implement behaviour support plans and follow client-specific routines.
  4. Promote independence, dignity, and choice for all clients.

About You
  • A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities is essential.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours across a 7-day roster is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.
  • Respect for individual choice, privacy, and cultural diversity is crucial.

Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience in disability support or care is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and ability to work within its framework and guidelines is essential.
  • Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or similar is required.
  • NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC).
  • Police Check.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Food Handling Certificate.
  • Manual Handling Certificate.
  • Medication Handling Certificate.
  • Driver's License.
  • Car Registration.
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • COVID-19 vaccinations as per public health requirements.
