Portfolio Sourcing Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Sourcing Professional to cover maternity leave for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the sourcing and execution of portfolio plans across various operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team that supports diverse service areas, including hospitals, palliative care, residential aged care, and home care. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to deliver value-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and execution of portfolio plans across multiple operations
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve best value outcomes
  • Work across diverse service areas, including hospitals, palliative care, residential aged care, and home care
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sourcing or procurement roles
  • Experience in health and aged care sectors is advantageous but not essential
  • Familiarity with strategic sourcing and category management methods
  • Subject matter expertise across Direct Goods/Services Categories
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to establish and sustain networking relationships
  • Comfortable with figures and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
  • Solid judgment with the ability to make good decisions
  • Understanding of Contracts and Legal Terminology
  • Ability to prioritize various projects
  • Influencing skills at all levels, including internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, and the ability to prepare reports for executive approvals
