We are seeking a seasoned Sourcing Specialist to join our Procurement, Contracts and Supply Chain Team for a 6-month contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sourcing and execution of portfolio plans across our multi-entity operations.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with operational teams to deliver best value outcomes for our patients, residents, clients, and staff.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven working experience in a sourcing or procurement role
  • Experience in Health and Aged Care sectors is advantageous but not essential
  • Familiarity with strategic sourcing and category management methods
  • Subject matter expertise across Direct Goods / Services Categories
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to establish and sustain networking relationships
  • Comfortable with figures and collecting, analysing, and interpreting data
  • Solid judgment with the ability to make good decisions
  • Understanding of Contracts and Legal Terminology
  • Ability to prioritise various projects
  • Influencing skills at all levels, including internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, and the ability to prepare reports for executive approvals

This role is based at our Richmond Office with hybrid working options and opportunities to work across Melbourne sites.
