Strategic Sourcing Specialist

To drive end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives and deliver high-value projects across indirect spend portfolios.

The role involves devising and executing strategic sourcing events, aligning the sourcing strategy with category strategies, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and proactively managing contract expiries and sourcing pipelines.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key strategic role within a top-tier procurement function. You will work alongside experienced professionals and have the chance to lead key strategic sourcing projects across significant spend and diverse vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devising and executing high-value strategic sourcing events for assigned portfolios.
  • Aligning the sourcing strategy with overall category strategies, working closely with category leadership teams and business stakeholders.
  • Fostering long-term strategic relationships with various stakeholders through effective organization.
  • Proactively managing portfolios, including contract expiry and sourcing pipeline management.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will be an established senior sourcing professional with experience in a structured corporate environment. You should have either broad indirect category experience or a deep understanding of specific categories.

As a strong communicator, you will need to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive commercial and business outcomes.

Benefits

This role offers a remuneration package including a salary range of $170-180k + superannuation, with a bonus tied to company performance. Flexibility includes 2 days a week working from home.
