We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Sourcing Specialist. This role involves establishing, leading and executing category plans, strategies and frameworks to meet client needs and expectations.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing and negotiation, with exposure to IFM principles. They will be responsible for presenting sourcing project outcomes and key recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers.
This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate based in either Melbourne or Sydney CBD at least 3 days a week. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organisational levels.
As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients, playing a core role in sourcing activities while supporting our bid and sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute category plans, strategies and frameworks to meet client needs and expectations
- Present sourcing project outcomes and key recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers
- Develop optimal sourcing strategies achieving consistent, quality outcomes across JLL's diverse client base
- Conduct negotiations on critical, complex supply arrangements and manage contract negotiations
- Manage key contracts and their administration while ensuring optimal vendor delivery
- Identify and evaluate new market trends and opportunities to deliver strategic procurement decisions
- Provide advice to key stakeholders and clients on all aspects of procurement category strategy
- Report on procurement activity in terms of progress, results, client satisfaction, value and cost
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Tertiary education in Business, Commerce, Economics, or related fields
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing and negotiation
- Exposure to IFM principles and/or experience will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organisational levels
- Experience in financial modelling, feasibility studies and total cost of ownership analysis
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Sound proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
