Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Supervisor to join our team at Labour Options, a fast-growing metal manufacturing company. As a Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a production team to meet targets in a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate a team of employees to ensure quality manufacturing and meet production targets.
  • Lead and organize a production team to achieve optimal results, focusing on quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage inventory and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and minimizing waste.
  • Coordinate deliveries and transport, ensuring timely and efficient logistics.
  • Collaborate with sales and management to coordinate orders and meet customer demands.
  • Program and operate remote controls, ensuring seamless production processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Trade background in Sheet Metal, Fitting, or Boilermaking.
  • Proven experience working with a team to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people in a harmonious manner.
  • Ability to plan ahead, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment, preferably with a forklift license.
