The Licensing Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring our Designworks business adheres to licensed contracts and ensures all licensed products are approved by licensors at each contractual stage. This involves working with the licensing manager and accounts team to process royalty reports, forecasts, and other financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the approval process for each license, ensuring relevant areas of the business adhere to relevant processes and stages required within the contract
  • Follow up with designers, production, and QA to ensure Licensor comments are actioned
  • Educate internal stakeholders on the License approval process for each license
  • Brief teams on sending final licensor samples, including number of samples and portal log ins
  • Maintain a library of style guides and licensor portal log ins, communicating updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Liaise with licensors on approvals
  • Maintain and update files to licensor requirements
  • Work closely with the Licensing Manager on approval issues at Licensor level
  • Collaborate with planners, account managers, finance, and licensing manager to submit financial and business reports

Requirements:

  • Experience working with licensed brands, contracts, and style guides
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) desirable but not essential
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong communication skills
  • Team player, problem solver
