About the Role

The Industrial Relations Manager position offers autonomy and control over your work, with full oversight of industrial relations nationwide.

You will be responsible for implementing sound industrial relations practices across the business unit to create a harmonious working environment.

  • Developing and implementing industrial relations solutions that meet business objectives
  • Negotiating and monitoring business-specific project awards/agreements/enterprise bargaining agreements
  • Providing advice on industry IR environments and union expectations during tender processes
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with senior union officials
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Employment Relations, Industrial Relations, Human Resources or a related business discipline
  • High-level demonstrated work experience in industrialized environments with multiple enterprise agreements
  • Demonstrated experience in providing industrial-related advice to senior management
