
People & Culture Manager

The People & Culture Manager will play a crucial role in developing and executing on global People & Culture initiatives during a transformational phase of the business. This role is responsible for providing business partnering to the Executive Leadership Team, managing a team of 2 global P&C Business Partners, and owning the delivery of tactical P&C projects.
This position will be primarily focused on tactical execution of P&C projects with the opportunity to develop and implement strategic global people initiatives, based on business requirements.
What You'll Do- Manage and implement improvements to the full employee lifecycle, with specific focus on onboarding and talent development.
- Maintain and improve HRIS systems to ensure data accuracy, up to date information, successful audits, and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and legal to ensure alignment on headcount planning, remuneration reviews, equity programs, and compliance.
- Manage vendor and benefit renewals.
- Maintain knowledge and stay up to date with current global employment laws in the UK, EU, US, and APAC.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and employment practices, advising leadership on best practice and areas of risk in the organization.
- Complete annual policy review process, ensuring compliant and reflective policies are live and available to employees.
- Prepare information for board reporting and audits.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the IR Performance Management Process.
- Work with Executive Leadership to develop and roll out company OKRs and KPIs.
- Mentor, provide support, and coach Managers on how to manage their employees towards high performance and address any performance issues.
- Educate leadership on global employment frameworks, workplace risks, and global compliance.
- Act as an escalation point for employee questions, feedback, and issues.
- Escalate and resolve employee issues in a consistent and compliant manner.
- Manage internal employee communications cadence.
- Develop and ensure adherence to standard interview processes to ensure best fit and a positive candidate experience.
- Cultivate a network of candidates and pipeline for open requirements throughout the year.
- Complete succession planning exercises to understand talent risks and create plans to develop internal talent to move into critical roles.
- Identify areas of capability gaps and develop strategies to cover these such as learning and development, talent acquisition, or succession planning.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of global direct reports towards high performance.
- Provide guidance to team on finding creative, business-oriented solutions that achieve strategic results.
- Manage the team's day to day, acting as escalation point for people issues and providing support to ensure best practices are followed.
- Analyse and identify areas of improvement in current P&C processes, procedures, and strategy.
- Contribute to the achievement of strategic opportunities & development of strategic capabilities.
- Develop yearly P&C goals, metrics, and overall people plan.
- Management of HR projects and Change Projects that are aligned to IR's strategic initiatives.
- 7+ years of experience in HR business partnering with 2+ years of experience managing a global HR team.
- Strong business partnering and advising experience, working closely with senior and executive leadership in a global role.
- Expert knowledge of HR organizational policies and practices, design, trends, best practice and future direction.
- Experience in a small to mid-sized business undergoing growth and/or transformation strongly preferred.
- Experience in a public company strongly preferred.
- Management, leadership, team building, consulting, influencing and negotiation skills.
