About the Role

As an Administration Assistant, you will be a key member of our team at Pirtek Southern Highlands, supporting our customers and colleagues with accurate and efficient administrative services. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team, providing administrative support and assistance to our Management and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate administrative support to our customers and team, including document preparation and data entry in MS Excel and Word.
  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both electronically and manually.
  • Complete cycle counting and inventory maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to Management and staff as required.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
  • Proficiency in basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and numeracy skills, with the ability to interpret written and verbal instructions.
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and solve problems effectively.
  • Able to contribute positively to a team environment and possess a 'can-do' attitude.
  • A current drivers' license and reliable vehicle for travel.
  • Residency in the Southern Highlands area.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
