Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to work as an asphalt spreader driver in south-east Queensland.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain asphalt seal spreader trucks and related equipment, adhering to safety regulations and specifications.
  • Clean and assess surfaces for sealing to ensure optimal results.
  • Apply sealant according to established protocols and guidelines, prioritizing quality and efficiency.
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to guarantee the safe operation of equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve seamless execution of tasks.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Medium Rigid (MR) driver's license.
  • Possess experience in asphalt spray sealing or a related field, with a strong understanding of road construction and maintenance practices.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse weather conditions and physical environments.
