Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced driver to operate asphalt seal spreader trucks and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain asphalt seal spreader trucks, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Prepare surfaces for sealing by cleaning and assessing conditions, adhering to industry standards.
  • Apply sealant according to specifications, following all relevant safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, identifying potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for everyone.
Requirements:
  • Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Multi Combination (MC) driver's license, with opportunity to upgrade HR license to Heavy Combination (HC) license for the right candidate.
  • Previous experience in asphalt spray sealing or a related field is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of road construction and maintenance practices, including knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments, adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
