SRE Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability and responsiveness of our platform 24/7, improving current software solutions to make them more stable.

This role is crucial in collaborating with cross-functional teams to guarantee system reliability, availability, and performance. The SRE will implement and maintain automation tools for monitoring, deploying, and scaling applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Implement and maintain automation tools for monitoring, deploying, and scaling applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, minimizing impact on the production environment.
  • Participate in system design and architecture to enhance scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Work closely with software engineers to promote best practices regarding reliability and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools, emphasizing expertise in Python.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Analyze system performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as an SRE or closely related role in Systems Engineering or Production Support.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to program using languages like Python, Bash, etc.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet, etc.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • A proactive approach to identify problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas of improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Self-motivated and positive mindset to examine any incidents.
