Job Title: Power Systems Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an unrestricted electrician to join our team in Eraring, NSW. As a specialist in power systems, you will be responsible for conducting preventative and reactive maintenance in large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS), including inverters, sensor testing, and full life cycle agreement works.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting routine maintenance tasks in BESS environments, including inverters and sensor testing
  • Engaging in critical work to ensure system reliability and stability

About the Project:

The Eraring BESS is a major infrastructure project that plays a vital role in Australia's transition to renewable energy sources by providing firming capacity and grid stability while supporting the integration of more renewable energy into the system.

Project Highlights:

  • All three stages of the Eraring BESS are currently under construction
  • Stage one and three (460MW each with a dispatch duration of four hours) are scheduled to come online soon
  • Combined energy storage capacity across all stages will be 2.8 GWh-enabling grid stability and supporting the integration of more renewable energy into the system

Key Requirements:

  • NNSW Electrical Licence (unrestricted)
  • White Card, LVR/CPR certifications, and a valid Driver's Licence
