The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to play a key role in its work towards contributing to financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysing and interpreting a broad array of data and information to identify and answer policy-relevant research questions, in collaboration with other teams across the RBA
  • Forming an assessment of the risks to financial stability originating from the household and/or business sectors, and drawing out any implications for monetary policy and macroprudential policy
  • Briefing the RBA's senior executive on new data and developments

This involves working closely with other teams across the organisation to contribute to the development of policy advice.

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and engaged analyst at a senior or lead level of experience with a strong interest in policy-relevant work in a collaborative environment.

  • Strong critical thinking and technical skills, and a sound theoretical framework
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate productively with others, and to work independently as required
