Market Risk Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Market Risk Manager to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of the Risk Management Team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing market-related risks to ensure the company's financial stability.

Your primary responsibilities include developing and implementing risk frameworks to support consistent risk appetite across the organization, assessing the financial impacts of market fluctuations, and providing actionable recommendations.

You will work closely with the Trading, Technology, and Operations Teams to ensure a strong risk management framework and culture is in place, monitor market conditions, and ensure regulatory compliance.

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of derivative markets, including options, proficiency with risk management tools and quantitative analysis, and a finance-relevant degree with proven experience in market risk management.

Additional requirements include effective communication, time management, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
