About the Role:
We're seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Infrastructure division, working on a $450m Water Infrastructure project in regional NSW. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in tracking, monitoring, and controlling costs during the project life cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret specification and standards and assess their impact on project costs
- Use Planning-Budgeting-Forecasting cost control model to increase profitability by identifying variances between cost elements
- Analyse actual cost against planned cost and forecast final cost versus budget
- Creation of tender event schedules for procurement programs
- Budget/Tender reconciliation, change management and variance analysis
- Quantification and costing of construction work
- Quantity Take-off and preparing Bills of Quantities
- Prepare estimates, quantities, prices, costing for project
- Interface with Project managers and Engineers to best manage risks and opportunities
Requirements:
- Tertiary or Trade Qualification in Quantity Surveying
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience on infrastructure projects within the construction industry
