Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Planner to join our team, responsible for efficiently organizing planned works to align with UGL and client deadlines. The Planner will play a crucial role in optimizing the utilization of UGL workforce, trades, and associated resources.

As a Planner, you will be responsible for crafting appropriate work schedules, enabling supervisors to achieve high levels of utilization, minimizing downtime, and ensuring ample resources for substantial projects.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability in distribution powerline project planning and efficient scheduling using project management methodologies. Proficiency in real-time monitoring systems and strong communication and collaboration skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timely communication of the schedule to keep all key stakeholders well-informed.
  • Interface with client ERP systems to gather service order details and plan jobs for efficiency and minimal customer outages.
  • Prepare comprehensive job packs covering priorities, safety requirements, materials, and client details to ensure project continuity.
  • Consult with stakeholders including landowners, councils, and government authorities to secure permits and authorizations.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to maintain quality, schedule audits, and assess performance metrics effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability in distribution powerline project planning and efficient scheduling using project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in real-time monitoring systems to make agile decisions and resolve issues promptly.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to provide centralized access to project information for team efficiency.
