**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Electricity Distribution Specialist to join our team based at our Burnley depot.

This role involves carrying out all functions associated with the construction, maintenance, metering, servicing, fault and emergency restoration of electricity distribution systems. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake switching on the LV network.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Carrying out construction and maintenance tasks on electricity distribution systems.
  • Metering and servicing equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Restoring power supply in cases of faults or emergencies.
  • Undertaking switching tasks on the LV network.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A strong Health and Safety culture.
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence.
  • A Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead or previous equivalent (mandatory).
  • A Heavy Vehicle Licence - HR (mandatory).
  • Switching training / authority (optional).
  • Glove & Barrier (optional).
