This position requires strategic thinking and leadership skills to drive economic development initiatives forward. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract new businesses, retain existing ones, and promote economic growth in the region.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in public administration, urban planning, business administration, real estate development, or a related field and 5 years of experience in economic development, business retention, real estate brokerage, retail development, or municipal government. Education above a bachelor's degree may also be substituted for two years of experience.

Municipal experience is highly valued, as are any certifications focused on economic development. The selected candidate must hold a valid Texas driver's license throughout their tenure.
