About the Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Principal, driving the development of a cutting-edge wellbeing, learning, and teaching framework that supports every student. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative leadership team shaping an inspiring and transformative learning environment at MacKillop Education.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Clifton Hill within our MacKillop Education program. The position reports to the Deputy Executive Principal.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in education, experience supporting vulnerable children and young people, and an understanding of trauma-informed practice in a school setting.

  • Key Selection Criteria:
  • Relevant qualifications in education
  • Relevant experience supporting vulnerable children and young people
  • An understanding of trauma-informed practice in a school setting
  • A proven ability to work in a complex multi-disciplinary and collaborative environment, with a focus on democratic participatory leadership
  • Demonstrated alignment with the ethos and identity of a Catholic school and a commitment to model these values as a leader
