The role of an Assistant Coordinator plays a pivotal part in the provision of National Quality Standard early childhood education and care to school-aged children.

Responsibilities

This exciting opportunity requires an experienced and passionate individual who will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service. This includes purchasing stock and equipment, assisting with recruitment, organizing uniforms, training, mentoring & coaching, performance management, and contributing to programming.

Key Selection Criteria

- Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent) and/or 3 years' experience
- Demonstrated supervision skills
- Effective communication skills in various contexts
- Knowledge and understanding of childhood development and programming for children
- Familiarity with Children's Services Regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the My Time Our Place Framework

Additional Requirements

- Current NSW Drivers licence
- Current NSW working with children's check prior to commencement
- Current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate
- Current Approved Child Protection certificate
