Job Overview

The Fresh Chilled Manager role plays a pivotal part in ensuring optimal CFC operational performance across Inventory Management and Replenishment activities in Perishables and Meat. This role will lead, manage, and support a team to provide an exceptional level of service to all online customers by ensuring stock is available when required to support picking of Online orders.

This role will involve close collaboration with the Replenishment Manager and reports into the Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Perishables and Meat teams to motivate, manage, and guide them to deliver results and drive best practice in the CFC
  • Lead the team to ensure good PI levels are maintained, overstocks are controlled, management of promotional screens, and fulfillment of Business to Business orders
  • Review stock loss daily with the out of code team to give the customer the freshest stock but also maintain profit margins
  • Review OOS reports daily to determine how we can improve availability to the customer
  • Work collaboratively with our Online Commercial and Online Replenishment teams to improve customer satisfaction, through range changes and managing stock levels
  • Identify and develop talent in the CFC to build a talent pipeline for the organization
  • Engage with other CFC teams to share best practice and knowledge sharing
