Key Role in Supply Chain Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from procurement and inventory management to distribution across all stores. This includes forecasting ingredient and packaging needs, aligning supply with sales trends, promotional activity, and store expansion.

Maintaining optimal stock levels is crucial to ensure compliance with food safety, cold chain, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and delivery terms, and evaluating performance to ensure quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Forecast ingredient and packaging needs and align supply with sales trends.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure compliance with food safety, cold chain, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead warehouse-to-store logistics and coordinate third-party delivery providers.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a supply chain, logistics, or distribution management role.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven experience managing third-party suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Experience with demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, and multi-site distribution planning.
  • Proficiency with inventory and ERP software systems.
  • Understanding of Australian food safety standards and importation processes.
