Cold Larder SpecialistJob Overview:
Our organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cold Larder Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, re-stocking as required, maintaining food hygiene and safety practices, assisting the broader team as needed, and preparing and presenting texture-modified foods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and serving high-quality meals to meet dietary requirements
- Re-stocking pantries and refrigerators to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Maintaining a clean and safe food preparation environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Providing exceptional customer service to our residents
- Collaborating with the culinary team to ensure efficient meal preparation and presentation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in kitchens, food preparation, and/or customer service is essential
- Experience in aged care or catering is highly desirable but not necessary
- A commitment to providing genuine and friendly customer service is paramount
