Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused professional to join our team in arranging for the packaging and delivery of donor tissue to surgeons around Queensland and overseas within critical timelines.

This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.

  • Arrange for the packaging and delivery of donor tissue to surgeons around Queensland and overseas within critical timelines.
  • Perform the receipt, distribution, and storage of tissue and supplies in accordance with Australian regulations and established protocols.
  • Receive tissue from hospitals as part of the Living Donor Bone Program, including allocation of unique identifying numbers and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Perform routine checks on designated areas and ensure workplace health and safety conditions, as well as compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform stock inventories for all supplies and critical materials as directed by the Supervisor.

  • Ensuring compliance with Australian regulations and protocols.
  • Coordinating with hospital staff to receive and allocate tissue.
  • Performing routine checks to ensure workplace health and safety conditions.
