Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of meals and dishes according to our a la carte menu, using a range of cooking skills and techniques.
  • Menu Planning: Contribute to the planning of menus and cooking procedures to ensure a high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness practices throughout your shift, ensuring compliance with OH&S regulations.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure a high standard of quality and presentation in all dishes.
  • Availability: Be available to work day, evening, weekend, and split shifts as required.
  • Reporting: Report to the Head Chef and contribute to the overall success of our kitchen team.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Minimum relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma, or 3 years of experience without a relevant certificate.
  • Experience: Hands-on relevant experience in an a la carte environment.
  • Skills: Passionate about great fresh food, delivers a consistent level of quality with a creative flair, well-organized, and a good communicator.
  • Work Rights: Hold work rights in Australia.
