About the Role:

M&T Resources is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Specialist to join our team as a Network Infrastructure Expert. As a key member of our IP Service Design group, you will be responsible for leading the architecture, detailed design, testing, and implementation of IP products and solutions in our converged IP network.

Main Responsibilities:

  • As the most senior engineer within the team, you will be the Subject Matter Expertise for the relevant technology area, creating designs to integrate Consumer platforms into the converged IP Network.
  • Developing technical scoping documentation from product requirements.
  • Generate network designs, lab testing, and implementation in production.
  • Develop well-prepared, accurate engineering network design documentation.
  • Perform assessment of existing network elements and implement design updates as required to ensure all network components meet the network design specifications.
  • Communicating complex technology solutions to other technical and non-technical staff.

Essential Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience in telecommunications with specific BGP on MPLS Networks for major telecommunications / ISP.
  • CCIE or JNCIE certification highly desirable.
  • Cisco ACI experience.
  • Sound knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing / Switching, MPLS, Traffic Engineering, L2 and L3 datacentre technologies – VXLAN, Cisco ACI, VPC.
  • Network Automation using Ansible, NSO, Python.
