Lead Data Engineer, Assessment Delivery Job Overview

The Lead Data Engineer, Assessment Delivery will oversee the management of NAPLAN data workflows from collection to analysis and reporting. This critical role requires a highly skilled professional to lead a team in delivering NAPLAN data projects efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans and risk management strategies for delivering NAPLAN data projects.
  • Provide assistance with HSC data processing during the relevant period.
  • Deliver NAPLAN datasets and draft results reports.
  • Mentor direct report data engineers and analysts on coding standards and knowledge sharing.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
  • High-level experience in implementing and overseeing matured test strategies for assessment divisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience tackling complex problems in technical and project management areas.
  • Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships through clear communication and negotiation.
  • Experience architecting scalable data solutions and developing technical roadmaps.
  • Proven achievements in multiple project objectives under limited resources and tight deadlines.
  • Experience designing ETL workflows in AWS cloud environments and using Linux command-line tools.
