Job Title

Student Learning and Support Leader

We are seeking a leader to oversee student learning and support, psychology, and counselling services in a holistic approach at our school.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and Supervise: Lead and supervise the student learning and support team, providing clear direction, recruiting high-calibre staff, and ensuring staff development.
  2. Foster Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, fostering collaboration to create a positive and effective team environment.
  3. Oversee Specialised Support: Oversee and apply expertise in specialised support service for students, ensuring best practices and consistent implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) across the school.
  4. Coordinate Resources: Coordinate and manage resources and staff to deliver effective support and extension programs for students, ensuring timely service delivery.
  5. Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with NCCD requirements, data collection, and audits while overseeing adjustments and provisions for students' needs.
Selection Criteria:
  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ, actively attending local Church, and supporting the school's vision.
  • Knowledge of child safety in an education setting.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • NESA teacher registration and post-graduate qualifications in special education.
  • Substantial experience in leading a team in specialised support service for students.
  • Demonstrated experience in building processes and systems that support funding and compliance requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of NCCD regulations.
