Director of Student Support Services

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Student Learning and Support Department, overseeing student learning and support, psychology, and counselling services in a holistic approach.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise the student learning and support team, providing clear direction and ensuring staff development.
- Foster collaboration with stakeholders to create a positive and effective team environment.
- Oversee specialised support services for students, ensuring best practices and consistent implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Coordinate resources and staff to deliver effective support and extension programs for students.
- Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and manage programme outcomes.
Selection Criteria:
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and willingness to support the organisation's vision.
- Knowledge of child safety in education settings and current Working with Children Check.
- NESA teacher registration and post-graduate qualifications in special education.
- Substantial experience leading a team in specialised support service for students.
This role makes a difference in student lives by offering comprehensive and consistent support and extension in a Christian learning environment.
