Customer Service Officer

About the Role
The successful candidate will contribute to the Territories Stolen Generations Redress Scheme, targeting the healing of trauma in Stolen Generations survivors. This initiative focuses on individuals removed from the Northern Territory, the Australian Capital Territory, and the Jervis Bay Territory during Commonwealth administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, providing a sensitive and respectful service.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team, being flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.
- Develop customer-focused relationship building skills, incorporating trauma-informed care principles: safety, empowerment, connection, choice, and control.
- Maintain comprehensive and detailed case management records with high-level attention to detail.
- Organize competing priorities and monitor service delivery.
What's on Offer
The successful candidate will be offered an APS5 equivalent hourly rate contract, based in Woden, ACT. A Baseline Security Clearance and a National Police Check are preferred, or willingness to obtain.
