We are seeking an ambitious professional to join our team as a Sourcing Specialist. This role will play a pivotal part in improving supply chain efficiency and cost management for our operations in Australia and New Zealand, focusing on transportation, logistics, and engineering services.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to lead negotiations and sourcing strategies that contribute to Air Liquide's commitment to delivering exceptional service excellence in the gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic sourcing plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders to optimize logistics and engineering services.
  • Analyze market trends and evaluate suppliers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, including supplier engagement, contract negotiation, and contracting to ensure seamless execution.
  • Leverage strong analytical skills to conduct business analysis, present recommendations, and drive decision-making in complex situations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels, influencing decisions and fostering a collaborative culture.

About the Role:

This position requires a tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing. A background in road transport and logistics is preferred, as well as proficiency in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract management.

A competitive salary of AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum reflects the company's commitment to attracting top talent in the industry. The estimated annual salary range is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and individual qualifications.
