About the RoleThe Food Services Assistant plays a key role in implementing, monitoring and evaluating the Food Safety Program; and providing quality food and beverages to meet resident's individual needs and preferences.
- Contribute to menu planning that meets the resident's needs and preferences.
- Preparation, serving, presentation and delivery of food and refreshments in accordance with the Food Safety Program.
- General cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program.
- Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program.
- Ensure timely and friendly delivery of meals and refreshments to all residents.
- Certified Food Handling Course.
- Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
- Experience in residential aged care food services.
