Manufacturing Leadership Opportunity

We are hiring a Manufacturing Leader to help rapidly grow our manufacturing capacity, from daily production-oriented tasks to implementing big initiatives that take us to the global stage.

The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader who can motivate and inspire their team. They should be product-obsessed, with a passion for creating great food, pet food, animal feed, or fertilizer products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Onboarding and leading a team of operators running our food waste, insect protein, fertiliser, and post-processing manufacturing lines.
  • Managing and leading production lines, meeting production targets, completing digital production logs, and accurate production data entry and inventories.
  • Providing ongoing coaching, training, development, and support to our production team and ensuring their skills are developed and enhanced.
  • Ensuring all machines and equipment are correctly used and maintained; reporting breakdowns as required and managing scheduled maintenance and repairs.
  • Leading trials for new production techniques and systems of work to improve manufacturing practices and productivity.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and maintaining rigorous food safety, hygiene, and quality standards using HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles.

Additional requirements include experience in creating process improvements and continuous improvement in food, animal feed, or fertiliser manufacturing, and developing and implementing Quality Management Systems for HACCP.
