Human Resources Specialist Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide expert advice and support to leadership teams, management, and employees across various areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage policies, practices, and procedures that foster a positive work environment and promote company culture and values.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to leaders and the workforce.
  • Support leaders with organizational reviews as required.
  • Drive regular initiatives aligned with agreed timelines.
  • Initiate, manage, and contribute to major reports, projects, committees, reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support and facilitate leadership development training.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in human resources or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a HR generalist role covering IR/ER, performance management, organizational development, and HR reporting.
  • Capacity to effectively communicate, promote, and uphold Fortescue People initiatives and company values within discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, counselling, negotiating, and report writing.
  • Well-developed organizational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and control own workload.
