Drive Revenue Growth as a Strategic Sales Professional
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving revenue growth by developing and managing assigned accounts strategically.
To be successful, you will need to research and understand territory growth opportunities to create an effective business plan and sales strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or at least a Bachelor's degree in a Life Science field, with 2-3 years of prior sales experience in life science reagents/consumables, preferably in the genomics industry.
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets is essential, as well as residing in Sydney and extensive familiarity with existing academic, corporate, and government accounts in the region.
Key responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, preparing information for sales calls, securing new customers, and maintaining regular communications with team members.
You will also need to travel 25-50% of the time within the assigned territory and occasionally overseas.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools, apply these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, and make business decisions.
